PhysicsPhysics will ground students in the five traditional areas of Physics (Newtonian mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, electricity and magnetism, and quantum mechanics) as well as the nature of science. Successful completion of high school Physics will provide the knowledge base needed for many college programs.

Physical Science (integrated/acceleratedPhysical Science is essentially the study of matter, energy, force and motion. Students will explore six topics in physical science - integrated: (1) Elements, Matter, and Interactions, (2) Matter in Organisms, (3) Forces and Motion, (4) Energy, (5) Waves, and (6) Interactions of Humans and the Environment.
HALO courses are designed to be personalized education and are differentiated from regular courses through digital delivery of content and assessment along self-directed pace and place of learning. |
BiologyBiology students will investigate the chemistry and role of cells in life processes, genetics, evolution and the diversity of life. Students will learn about the world through the study of behavioral relationships, ecology, the global impact of ecological issues, and the nature of science.
